Jiwan Lal Khanna enrolled as a Chartered Accountant (CA) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in 1982. He is also a diploma holder in Information Systems Audit (DISA) in 2004 from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also on panel of Peer Review auditors since 2006. He has bachelor's degree in Commerce. He has also got diploma in CAAT from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is working as a Proprietor for 27 years in the firm since 1982.

He has extensive experience in audits, review and financial reporting, having knowledge and application of the accounting and auditing standards and drafting financial statements and related disclosures, partnership dispute resolution, family settlements, etc. He has excellent rapport with bankers and various government departments/regulators.

He is also managing tax practice of the firm, with in-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws, regulations, rulings and judicial interpretations and comprehensive working knowledge of various other laws. Apart from advising clients on various issues under the Income-Tax Act, Wealth Tax Act and Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements, he has a vast experience in handling assessment proceedings under the Income-tax Act. He also handles appellate matters before the Commissioner of Income tax (Appeals) and the Income-tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) and is actively involved in Amritsar Branch of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
